Adapted from 2 terrace houses circa 1810. 3 storeys stucco faced. Parapet
with coping moulded cornice. 3 windows, to No 1, outer ones in shallow
3 storey bows. Later C19 casements. 0French windows lst floor giving
onto balcony which has been altered later C19 with heavy brackets, wooden
balusters. but retains supports of tent-shaped canopy, curved out in front
of bows. Central porch to No 1 contemporary with alterations to balcony,
wood, ogee arched openings to side end front with balustrades, entablature
over. Door altered but original semi-circular fanlight with looped radial
glazing bars and original reeded case with panelled reveals and soffit.
Early area railings survive to right of porch, with scrolled end panels.
No 2 has a 2 window front. Recessed sashes on 2nd floor, glazing bars
to upper sash only. 1st floor has circa 1900 accute angled French window
bays giving onto tent-roofed balcony carried over from No 1. Ground floor
retains 2 round headed sash windows and door converted to window in arched
recesses. Area railings with splayed spear heads carried up flight of
3 steps to former entrance.

Nos 1 to 12 (consec) form a group.
