Circa 1820-30, 3 storey stucco house. Gable end to road. This front
has scalloped bargeboards, 2 small casement windows, a Gothic casement
with diamond pattern rail on 1st floor and a porch with clustered shaft
supports and gabled roof with bargeboard. The garden front has 3 windows
to each floor: 2-light marginal glazed casements on 2nd floor and French
windows to ground and 1st floors. The tent-roofed balcony end verandah
has later wood supports and balusters.
The War Memorial Sevice Men's Club and Harston, with Hope Cottage in
Coburg Street form a group.
