north-east of the
Old Rectory

GV II

Stables. Early C19. Sandstone rubble, brick, stone slate roof, brick end
stacks with sandstone dressings. Rectangular porch aligned north-west/south-
east. One storey and attic. South elevation has two windows, 2-light wooden
casements, each light having 2-centred head in square openings with open
spandrels, in gable fronts to left and right, ledged two-leaved doors to
right-hand gable, central stable door with 4-paned light in upper leaf.
Included for group value as conspicuous building close to The Old Rectory
(qv) and the Church of St Mary (qv).
