House. Mid C19. Stuccoed brick or stone with exposed brick tops to chimney
stacks; slate roof. 2-storeys with attics. Double depth, 4-room plan under single
roof, with 2 stacks projecting front and rear above each gable end. Symmetrical 3-
window front of 12-pane sashes. Central 4-panel door now partly glazed,panelled
reveals to doorway and wooden doorcase with incised pilasters and entablature has
Doric frieze with triglyphs and guttae. Iron gutter with cast-iron lions' masks
over joints. Gable ends have single bullseye windows to attics and both gables
have shaped bargeboards with open-work frets and pendants at apex.
