House. 1734 with early C19 alterations. Coursed squared gritstone with gritstone
dressings and chamfered quoins. Steeply pitched plain tile roof with stone gable end
stacks and stone coped gables with moulded kneelers. Three storeys, three bays.
Central flush doorcase with raised fillet to edge, large bracketed moulded stone hood
and panelled door with plain overlight. To either side, C19 canted bay windows with
C20 fenestration and moulded cornices. Above, central glazing bar fixed light in
flush surround with raised fillet to edge, glazing bar sashes in similar surrounds to
either side. Above, two similar, smaller sashes and central datestone with dripmould
inscribed 'TC GC 1734'. Interior has original stone fireplace with moulded surround
and mantlepiece, re-used from upstairs room, in sitting room. Attached to front
iron railings with pointed, pierced finials and stone gatepiers with pointed tops
and acorn type finials.
