School. Dated 1842 on name plaque, with later alterations. Coursed rubble,
stone dressings, slate roof coated with bitumen, raised coped verges with
kneelers and ball finials. 1½ storeys and 3 windows, each of 6 lights with
wooden mullions and transoms and glazing bars, 3 gables, each with blind oval
bull's eye and drip mould, plinth, weathered buttresses, corbels under eaves;
gabled porch to right has door with 4-centred arched head and chamfered
surround. West elevation has 6-light stone mullion and transom window at upper
level, east elevation has 6-light stone oriel with hood mould, mask stops and
relieving arch, blind oval bull's eye with hood mould above; rear has C20
1½ storey extensions. Interior: not inspected.
