Lumb House Farmhouse
II
Farmhouse. Early C18 with C19 alterations. Deeply coursed millstone
grit. Stone slate roof with gable copings on cut kneelers. One
ashlar gable stack and one stone central stack. Two storeys. Blocked
doorway to left with moulded surround and initials I.M.L. and date.
One 4-light window, a C19 doorway, and one 2-light window to right.
Both windows are double chamfered. To 1st floor are three 2-light
C19 windows all with mullion removed. To rear is C19 2-storey
addition with pitched roof, not included in the item.
