SX 25 NE MORVAL

Water mill and store now disused. Circa mid C19. Stone rubble with corrugated iron
roof with gable ends. Rectangular plan with remains of water wheel on right-hand
gable end. Further extended by 2-storey store on left-hand gable end.
2 storeys asymmetrical front comprising store on left and mill on right with straight
joint to left of..centre. Store with window on left and plank door adjoining on right
with timber lintel. To right, mill with plank door with dressed stone arch, 2-light
window and blocked window near right-hand gable end. 2-light window opening on first
floor. Remains of hybrid undershot mill wheel on right-hand gable end, inscribed 'W
Brenton St Germans Cornwall' and 'W Brenton Polbathic'.
Interior Mill with machinery largely complete including 2 pairs of millstones and
timber gearing. Oak pegged collar rafter roof.
