GV II
Lime kiln, disused, circa early C19. Rubble stone with large quoins and round brick arches to opposing openings on west and east elevations. Square in plan with flat top. Built into side of steep hill to facilitate top loading. Openings have deeply splayed reveals and are blocked to rear. At time of assessment covered in foliage. This lime kiln together with lime kiln on opposite side of creek (q.v. lime kiln 5 metres to north-west of Pont Creek Farmhouse) is situated near the quayside of Pont Pill where there were good facilities for loading and unloading.
