SX 26 SW ST KEYNE

Farmhouse. Circa mid C18. Rubblestone with slate roof with gabled ends. Projecting
rubblestone stacks in gable ends with brick shafts. 2 room and through passage plan
with later rear outshut containing service rooms.
2 storeys, symmetrical 3 window front. Ground floor with 2 early C19 2-light
casements with glazing bars to casement of left-hand window removed. Timber lintels.
Plank door in centre beneath timber lintel. Above 3 early C19 2-light casements with
glazing bars. Timber lintels. Outbuilding on left-hand gable end, probably shippon
with hayloft above. Now store. Heavy timber rough-cut beams. Simple interior with
mid to late C18 joinery. First floor not inspected.
