House. Circa late C18. Stuccoed front, otherwise painted rubble walls. Scantle slate roof with brick chimneys over gable ends. Cast iron ogee gutter to front.Plan of two rooms flanking through passage: larger probably hall/kitchen on left and parlour on right, plus later single-storey lean-to at far right.

Two storeys slightly irregular three-window roughly east front. Stucco, with plinth, rusticated quoin strips and band architraves to ground floor openings, keyed over doorway. (Stucco is C19 addition possibly 1861, for Edward Pierce, painter, 1861 is scratched on one of the window panes). Doorway, with C20 door, is off-centre to right. Ground floor openings have shallow arches and windows are wide. All front windows except C20 window to lean-to on right are original C18 casements with eight panes per light, three-light windows to ground floor and two-light windows to first floor. Rear has one original 16-pane two-light casement to first floor left, otherwise later sashes.

Interior not inspected.

The C18 casements are an especially important feature and it is surprising that they
survived the C19 refashioning.
