House. C17 core with C19 single storey front addition and C20 renovations to
left of porch. Colourwashed, rendered cob and slate with asbestos slate roof half
hipped at left gable end, large stone ridge stack with weatherings. Core is single
depth, 3 rooms wide. 2 stpreu 5 window range. 2-storey right front projection
under slated gabled roof, single-storey front lean-to under slate roof, probably
former shop. 2-storey front, door into lean-to, 5-plank front door under sloping
slate roof and porch wall to left of lean-to. Windows to left of front door mostly
renewed casements.
Lean-to has 6-pane window to left of door, 8-pane shop window to right of
door, continues as 2-pane window in right return. Other windows 2-light casements,
6 panes per light. Interior retains large fireplace in ground floor room right,
room to rear of stack said to be former dairy. Principals visible in some first
floor rooms, some doorcases survive. House retains rear burgage plot.
