SS 23 06 BUDE-STRATTON COTHILL (east side), STRATTON

13/175 Little Cothill Guesthouse

GV II

House. Early C19, 3 builds, right end probably C18. Whitewashed and plastered
with slate roof (diminishing courses) gabled at ends and brick chimneys. 2
storeys. 1 + 2 + 1 window front, changes in roofline and right end slightly set
back indicate 3 builds. 6 panel front door into set back block. Door under
slated canopy carried on timber post. 4 ground floor windows to left of door C20
horned 12-pane sashes. Ground floor sash window to right of door 4 panes over 8
panes. 4 first floor 12-pane sash windows, first floor window right may be C18
sash.
Interior not inspected.
Forms part of a good group with the Stratton Garden Hotel (q.v.). Included for
group value.
