House, presently Hotel. Main range early C19, C18 block adjoins at south.
Whitewashed and plastered, C18 build slate-hung on first floor with large slates,
slate roofs painted with bitumen, gabled at ends to main range, hipped to C18
build. Rendered brick chimneys at gable ends of main range. 2 storeys. 3 + 1
window front, main range slightly forward of C18 block. Main range symmetrical
with central 4-panel front door with rectangular fanlight under slated gabled
canopy with bargeboarding to gable. 2 ground floor and 3 first floor 16-pane sash
windows, those to right without horns. Similar ground floor window in C18 build.
Early C19 stair with stick balusters to C19 range which may be remodelling of
earlier house. Forms a good group with Little Cothill Guesthouse (q.v.).
