House. C17 origins, C19 alterations. Rendered whitewashed cob, temporary canvas
roofing, formerly thatched. Massive stone chimney at left end with brick shaft
shared with Chy-an-Eglos (q.v.). 2-room and through passage plan. 2 storeys. 4-
window front. Central C20 front door. Further blocked doorway on front at right.
Ground floor window to left of front door C20 2-light casement 3 panes per light.
Ground floor window in blocked doorway C20 casement, 6 panes per light. Ground
floor window right C19 2-light casement, 6 panes per light. First floor window
left C20 2-light casement, 2 panes per light. 3 other first floor openings.
Interior. Slate floor to ground floor room left. Trusses over right end pegged,
formerly with threaded purlins. 1 truss over left end has cambered collar halved
and pegged into principals. No. 24 was 2 properties at one time.
