Former Cadgwith lifeboat house

Lifeboat house, now used by local fishing industry. Circa 1867.
MATERIALS: stone rubble walls with granite dressings and quoins. Slate roof.
EXTERIOR: Gabled end with large central opening facing the beach which is across the road. Wooden double-doors with some later boarding. Square loft opening with granite dressings above in gable end. South west side (on left) with two tall granite dressed rectangular openings. On north-east (right) two similar openings. That on left has barometer and small fishing painting behind glass in opening. Stream flows down beneath building. Station closed in 1963.
