Cartshed or possibly engine house and adjoining piggery with integral swill kitchen.
Circa late C19 or possibly circa 1910. Granite rubble with granite dressings.
Grouted scantle slate roofs. Hipped roof over cartshed, left, gable ends to piggery,
right, with brick chimney over left hand gable end.
Plan: overall L-shaped plan. To the right a piggery with 4 pigs' stys and an
integral swill kitchen at the left end; adjoining to left an implement shed and right
angles projecting at the front a cartshed or engine house.
Exterior: Single storey. Doorways at the front. Old ledged and braced doors.
Interiors: not inspected.
Part of an unspoiled coastal hamlet set in the ancient field system of this part of
Cornwall.
