Farmhouse and attached cottage; now farmhouse. Early C19 with C20
alteration and extension. Sandstone ashlar front, squared sandstone to
rear; pantile roof with brick stacks. Central-staircase plan to house, to
left of original cottage with outshut, later raised and extended. 2-storey,
3-window front. 6-panel doors to centre left and centre right, both with
painted flat arches. Ground-floor window at end right is a tall 3-light,
small-pane horizontal-sliding sash beneath a painted flat arch. Remaining
windows are 16-pane sashes with painted keyblock lintels, except that to
first floor right, which is plain. Painted stone sills to all windows.
Phoenix Insurance firemark over door to left. Moulded eaves cornice. End
and right-of-centre stacks.
