SW 7939 FEOCK ST JOHNS TERRACE, Devoran

7/85 No 30 and garden wall to south

GV II

House and front garden wall. Circa 1840's. Killas rubble with granite quoins,
jambstones and lintels. Hipped asbestos slate roof with brick chimneys over side
walls.
Double depth plan with principal front room to either side of central entrance hall
leading to stair between rear service rooms.
2 storeys. Symmetrical 3-window south front plus small single storey extension to
left. Central doorway with 6-panel door and unusually intricate latticed wooden
porch. 2-paned horned sashes. Thick slate sills on lead flashings.
Interior not inspected.
Low coped granite rubble wall to front.
This is one of a row of similar contemporary houses in St Johns Terrace which form an
impressive group in spite of later alterations to some of the houses.
