SW 7939 FEOCK ST JOHNS TERRACE, Devoran

7/81 No 22 and garden wall to south

GV II

House and garden wall to front. Circa 1840's. Killas rubble with granite quoins and
jambstones. Hipped asbestos slate roof with wide eaves and brick chimneys over side
walls.
2-room central stair plan with service rooms to integral rear outshut.
2 storeys. Symmetrical 3-window south front with central round-headed door. Top-
glazed 6-panel door with fanlight over. Ground floor windows are circa 1900 canted
bays with horned sashes. 2-paned sashes to first floor. Lead flashing under slate
sills.
Interior not inspected.
Low granite coped garden wall to front.
This is one of a row of similar contemporary houses in St Johns Terrace which form an
impressive group in spite of later alterations to some of the houses.
