South east aspect. The tall south chapel has a low pitched roof and angle buttresses, with plinth and string course, a 3 light window with cusped heads to the lights, triangular head and a steeply pointed hood with human head stops which rises to a crocketed pinnacle at the roof gable. A previous, steeply pitched, chapel roof could have accomodated all this as a full height window. To the left of it, a priests doorway with polygonal responds, hoodmould and label stops that look displaced. The chancel has a stone coped slate roof. The south window is a C16 single light, with cusped head, in a deeply set concave four-centred arched surround. (Photo Mar 2008).
