GV II

House, formerly 2 cottages. Mid C19. Plastered cob or rubble; rubble stacks with
C19 brick tops; slate roof. Originally a pair of adjoining cottages facing south-
west away from the road. Each was a small 2-room plan cottage with stack in right
(north-west) end. 2 storeys. Overall 4-window front, 3 to right and 1 to left.
All, except for a small fixed pane window left of centre, are 12 pane sashes; those
on first floor are slightly narrower than those on ground floor. Both doors are 4
panels with flat hoods on shaped brackets. Roof is hipped to left. The left (south-
east) end wall to the road is angled back to accommodate the corner. End wall and
left end of rear wall also include 12-pane sashes but those between are C20 windows.
Interior not inspected. Included for group value.
