House, barns and stables, enclosing a courtyard. Mid C18. House has
plastered walls, hipped tiled roof with stone eaves courses, central brick
stack. 2 storeys and attics. Central door with flat hood on brackets.
Ground floor has 2 double-hung sash windows with glazing bars. First floor
has 3 similar windows. Attic has 2 hipped dormers on south-east. 2 large
barns form the north-east and south-west sides of the courtyard. South-west
barn part demolished. These have brick walls with dentil cornice at eaves.
Tiled roofs with stone eaves courses and coped gables. Walls buttressed.
Slit windows. One elliptical arched doorway in north-east barn. Roof
trusses have curved braces. Single-storey stable range on north-west has
walls partly of brick, partly boarded; and tiled roofs. Brick wall closes
courtyard on south-east. RCHM Monument 3.
