Gate piers, gates and boundary walls facing Beachley Road. Early C19. Sandstone
walls, iron gates. Pair of piers c800 mm square and c 3.5 m high to large ball
finial on square ogee capping to moulded edge on rock-faced piers to moulded plinth;
pair of iron gates swept up to hinges, decorative hanging stiles and rails. On
each side quadrant of sandstone snecked walling to weathered sandstone cappings
returning to square piers at road c650 mm square with flat cappings to moulded
cornice and ball finials; upper pier c 2.25 m and lower pier c3 m high to accommodate
hill slope. Overall width c11 m.
