Town house, at one time a shop/dwelling. 1820s. Brick with
buff headers; double-gable slate roof with brick end stacks.
Double-depth plan. Georgian style. 2 storeys; symmetrical
3-window range. Modillioned brick cornice. Entrance has
panelled pilasters and overlight to 6-flush-panel door;
entablature continued over flanking canted bay windows with
4:16:4-pane sashes. 1st floor has windows with sills, and
cambered brick arches over 16-pane sashes and central blind
window. College Lane is part of the development of the land on
which the medieval priests' college stood until 1799, in an
area of early C19 housing of good quality.
