Pair of town houses. 1820s. Brick with buff headers and stucco
dressings; slate roof with large brick cross-axial stack.
Double-depth plan. Georgian style. 2 storeys; symmetrical
2-window range. Wide eaves on small paired brackets. Entrances
to ends have moulded doorcases and flat cornices, No.3 with
C20 door, that to No.4 with 2 fielded over 2 flush panels.
Windows have sills, and rusticated wedge lintels with keys
over 12-pane sashes. Good rainwater head. College Street is
part of the development of the land on which the medieval
priests' college stood until 1799, in an area of good quality
early C19 housing.
