Marble plaque. To the Glory of God and in loving remembrance of Arthur Carter, MA, Pembroke College, Cambridge, Rector of St Michaels, Brooksby 1888 to 1923 During his ministry he did much to beautify this church and after the Great War 1914 to 1918, he collected money to provide the Altar, as a Thank Offering for Peace. A man Greatly Beloved. The Master called him on April 9th 1923 Matthew 25.21-. Erected by his wife and daughter. (Photo Jun 2015).
