House, now with 2 shops. Late C18 or early C19 with mid C20 shops. Red brick
in Flemish bond; concealed plain tile roof. 3 storeys with basement storey at
front. 3 bays. Basement storey has projecting C20 shops, the right corner
canted, with wooden columns and entablature, recessed doors and continuous
small-pane overlight. House has sash windows in reveals with flat brick arches
and projecting sills, of 12 panes to ground and 1st floors, 6 panes to 2nd floor
ground-floor windows partly concealed by shop addition. Parapet with flat stone
coping concealing hipped roof with 2 external stacks at each side. Rear:
windows as front but ground floor has 18-pane windows to right-hand bays, that
to centre a French window, protected by swept, metal-roofed verandah;
single-storey addition projecting from left bay not of special interest. Right
return: central door (to no 91A); above it, a round-arched stair-window with
glazing bars; the stacks are corbelled; one old rainwater-pipe hopper.
