Milepost. Late C19. Maker : Brayshaw and Booth, Liversedge. Cast iron
fixed on sandstone pillar. Angled sides and sloping top-plate beneath round-
headed panel. Raised lettering reads:

on upper panel : BRAMPTON BIERLOW & HOOTON/ROBERTS ROAD/SWINTON BRANCH/
CONISBORO
on left side : BARNSLEY/16¼ MILES/WENTWORTH/8½/SWITNTON/3¾ MILES/
MEXBORO/2¼ MILES
on right side : DONCASTER/6 MILES/CONISB0RO/½ MILE
