GV II

Account house, later customs house. 1840. For William Cudlip.
Granite ashlar front with plinth, rusticated quoins, sills,
string course, segmental arches and parapet with coping;
asbestos slate roof. Deep plan. 2 storeys; 3-window range plus
loading doorway left of centre. C20 hornless sashes including
pair of sashes to loading doorway over doorway with double
doors, sidelights and blind fanlight, flanked by openings with
C20 windows, plus carriage entrance on the right; all doorways
with elliptical arches. Initials WEC and date 1840 over
left-hand doorway. INTERIOR: ground floor altered C20,
otherwise not inspected.
