House, now shop. Possibly C16 with later alterations. Stucco,
probably to timber frame; tile roof with brick stack. 2
storeys; 2-window range. 1st floor jettied to George Street
and Bolebridge Street elevations; plain parapet. Ground floor
has late C19 or early C20 shop front with panelled pilasters,
bracketed fascia and recessed corner entrance; 2 casement
windows to 1st floor. Stack to rear of ridge. INTERIOR: one
exposed wall plate; roof not inspected. Building has
timber-framed structure (hidden by later alterations) as shown
in E.B.Hamel's 1829 illustrations of Tamworth.
