GV II

House. Early C19, remodelled 1869 by Henry Rice. Stucco on
rubble, some rubble to sides and rear; asbestos slate roof
with wide eaves; tall brick stacks. Double-depth plan. 3
storeys; symmetrical 3-window front. C20 horned sashes with
glazing bars except for mid C19 12-pane sash to first-floor
right and blind window over Doric doorway which has engaged
columns and frieze with triglyphs; panelled reveals and
4-panel door. Rear has original round-arched stair window with
glazing bars and fanlight head. INTERIOR not inspected but
described as 'altered' in former list description. SUBSIDIARY
FEATURES: coped rubble screen wall on the right with doorway
on the left and blocked doorway on the right.
