East wall of south aisle. Hatchment of Thomas Coke d1727 and wives Mary Stanhope daughter of Philip 2nd Earl of Chesterfield and Mary Hale. All black background. Quarterly 1 and 4 Gules three crescents and a canton or (Coke) 2 and 3 Argent a bend compony gules and argent cotised gules (Leventhorpe). To dexter a shield Coke impaling Quarterly ermine and gules (Stanhope). To sinister a shield Coke impaling Azure a chevron embattled counter embattled or (Hale). (Photo Aug 2015).
