North aisle stained glass window. Iochebed, Moses, Amram and Miriam Church of St Michael with St Mary, Melbourne, Derbyshire When though passest through the waters I will be with thee. Flanking central light St Hubert with a stag with a cross between its antlers. His crozier has the same emblem. Shields: left: Azure on a Y cross argent four crosses formee fitchy sable in chief point another or. Above, a bishops mitre (See of Canterbury). Right: Sable three fountains in chief dexter or a stag couchant proper, point azure the Madonna and Child argent, sinister or a cross raguly vert (Diocese of Southwell). Centre Gules on a fess or between three mascles azure each charged with three gouttes sable a trefoil slipped azure between two bittern's heads erased proper and about their necks a leash argent. An esquires helmet. Mantling of or and gules. Crest A bittern erased proper, about its neck a leash argent. (Thacker of Heage, co. Derby) The window is dated MDCCCCXXII (1922). (Photo Aug 2015).
