House. Early C18, remodelled c1820, additions c1900. Red
brick, rendered and painted. Slate roofs with deeply
overhanging eaves and wooden brackets. A single wall stack and
2 ridge stacks. 3 storey, 3 window.
East front, main entrance has 6-panel part glazed door with
fanlight and projecting porch with fluted Doric columns. Above
a round headed glazing bar sash window. To the right a
projecting wooden square bay window with 4 windows including 2
original glazed doors, beyond to right a 3-light glazing bar
casement, and above two 16-pane glazing bar sashes, and above
again two 8-pane sashes. To right a 2 storey projecting porch
with a wooden pilaster door surround and plank door. Above a
12-pane sash. Beyond to right a low 2 storey wing with a
single 3-light glazing bar casement, and above a small fixed
light and a 2-light casement.
South front, 2 storey, 2 windows. 2 pairs of glazed double
doors each with a glazing bar overlight, and above two 12-pane
top hung casements.
Interior. Has 3 flight, dog-leg staircase with stick balusters
and polished hand-rail. Kitchen has early C18 chamfered spine
beams, panel doors and a corner cupboard with segment headed
panel doors.
