Early C19 remodelling of older building, formerly the Bacon Arms Inn and.earlier Maidenhead Inn. Two storeys and dormers. Five windows. Tile roof. Painted brick with dentil cornice. Five gabled casement dormers. Gauged flat brick arches to recessed sash windows with glazing bars; outer and central bay windows with sidelights. Segmental arched carriage entrance. In west wall of yard passage, entrance with sidelights and segmental fanlight. Adjoining at rear, splayed bay windows with sashes.

Interior altered but retains C17/C18 ceiling beams to ground floor.
