Mid C18 terrace, each house 3 storeys and basement, 2 windows. Multicoloured
stock brick. Basements stuccoed except for No 36. Moulded and dentilled red
brick cornice. Parapet with later rendering conceals roof. Some rebuilding
above 1st floor windows. Gauged red brick arches to windows, those of Nos 30
and 32 in near-flush frames, others recessed in stucco lined reveals. 1st and
2nd floor windows of No 30 have later stucco friezes with rosettes, and console
bracketed cornices. All 1st and ground floor windows are mid C19 sashes with
margin lights (except ground floors of Nos 32 and 34, and 1st floor left of No
34, later sashes). 2nd floor sash windows, No 30 with margin lights, No 32
with central bar, Nos 34 and 36 with glazing bars.
3 stone steps to doors of 6 fielded, panels, with cornice head continuing around
reveal to capitals of three-quarter-Doric columns. Semi-circular fanlight with
moulded architrave. Doorcase entablature has triglyph and guttae friezes, mutule
cornices and open pediment with mutules. Nos 30 and 32 have wrought iron band
and area railings, delicate lanceheads with alternating tall and short standards.
Nos 34 and 36 have later cast iron railings with fleur de lys standards.

Nos 30 to 38 (even) form a group.
