Late C19 house of 2 storeys, attic and basement, 3 windows, L-shaped. Tudor
style. Coursed freestone with stone quoins and plinth; and band below attic
window in right section. High pitched slated roof with fleur-de-lys ridge tiles,
curved and pierced bargeboards and deep eaves. Left section projects under gable
end. Right section has 2 gabled dormers breaking eaves. Flat surrounds to windows,
those in right section 1-light sashes under Tudor arches. Continuous dripmould
over ground floor windows. In left section a 2-light sash window in gable,
square headed but with Tudor-arched lights; 1st floor window similar but 3-light
and with drip mould. Canted bay on ground floor and basement with slated roof
over and 4 Tudor arched lights. Door, with surrounding lights making 3 4-centred
heads, in gabled porch in angle.

Nos 1 t3 37 (odd) including Gatepiers walls to form No1, form a group.
