Barn and attached stable. Late C18/early C19 with later alterations. Rubble
with stone dressings, slate roof with raised coped verges and kneelers, finials to
gables. Barn forms L-plan with stable. Front of barn has high gabled cart
entry with timber lintel over double doors, triangular set of blocked pigeon holes
in gable; stone lean-to right and left with corrugated iron roofs, door to left,
door and window to right. Left return has ventilation slits and owlhole
attached lean-to with slate roof, C20 addition to left. Attached to right return
a single storey 4-bay stable, with door and 2-light fixed light to each side,
similar roof construction to barn. Rear of barn has cart entry repeated with
pitched roof in corrugated asbestos, contemporary lean-to to left, C20 addition
to right; to far left, C20 cart entry with loading door above. Interiors: not
inspected.
