House. 1760s or later. Rendered brick with slate roof. 2-bay
2-storey house with small wing to rear. Off-centre C20 door
and gabled canopy flanked on either side by C20 replacement
casement windows. Similar first floor windows. Gable and
ridge chimney stacks. Stone garden wall adjoins at front.
Included for group value. The group of houses is reported as
having been built by the 3rd Duke of Bridgewater for his
canal operatives and workers.
