House. 1760s. Rendered brick with graduated slate roof. 2
bays and 2 storeys. Off-centre door with gabled C20 canopy.
Two 3-light multi-pane casement windows on each floor, that
to the right ground floor having a segmental-arched head.
Ridge chimney stacks to left and right. Stone garden wall
adjoins at front. The group of houses is reported as having
been built by the 3rd Duke of Bridgewater for his canal
operatives and workers.
