Former house, now restaurant. Mid-C18. Rendered rubble limestone with gritstone
dressings, plain gables, end stone stacks, Welsh slated roof. Three storeys, two
bays, with mullioned windows to first and second floors, the latter of 2-lights and
with chamfer mullions, the former of 3-lights with flush mullions, all now with
painted surrounds and glazing bar sashes or casements. Ground floor window of
4-lights and C20 addition. Plain rectangular opening to north east end, and plain
doorway to south west end with C20 door. Said to have formerly housed the town
lock-up.
