Chest tomb. Third quarter C18. Ashlar. Flat top, deeply moulded cornice;

long sides in two panels flanked by fluted pilasters, panels raised and

fielded. Inscription (east end): "Here lies entombed the Remains/ of John

Aaron late of Cuttnall-/green Gent. He was descended/ from an antient and
e
honourable/ family formerly of Little Drayton/ near Shifnal in y County

of Salop/ and died Oct 23 1769 Aged 83".
