House. c1700 with early C19 and C20 additions and alterations. Brick,
tile roof, painted ashlar dressings. Two storeys and attic lit by two flat
roofed dormers; wooden modillioned cornice, stone coped verges with finials
to kneelers, quoins, two string courses, end stacks; five bays, four windows
with 24-pane flush framed sashes, under rubbed brick-heads with keystones
joined to string; in central bay a pedimented tablet with head flanked by
wings in pediment, tablet below bolection moulded. Ground floor: two
similar sashes to left, two 12-pane sashes to right; central entrance with
shell canopy on consoles, moulded frame to 6-panelled door. Early C19 wing
added to left of three windows. Garden front of house remodelled early C19
with render and four glazing bar sash windows. Interior: stair remodelled
early C19, with stick balusters.
