Detached House. C16 core with an early C18 refronting. Dressed
stone walls. Thatch roof with block ridging and stone gable-copings.
One brick stack at right hand gable. South front: 2 storeys.
5 windows, symmetrical facade, square window-surrounds of ashlar
and stone cills. Ground floor has sashes and thin glazing-bars.
First floor has 2-light wooden casements with glazing-bars, C20.
Front doorway: eared stone architrave, with a pulvinated frieze and
stone pediment carried on two volute brackets, early C18. Door, C20,
with flush panels and 9 glass lights over. Rear wing: blocked stone
doorway, converted to a window, ovolo with a depressed-arch head,
C17. Interior: Dentil cornices in front rooms. Fielded panelling
with dado-rail. Flagstone floors.
