4/140 Group of two headstones
approximately 6 metres
and 11 metres south of
north transept of
Church of St Eadburgha
GV II
Two headstones. Circa 1700. Limestone. Southern one has top treated as
a shaped gable, with scrolls and a swag below, and carved rosettes. An
illegible inscription has a moulded border. The northern headstone has a
flat top and is carved with drapery and with two cherubs' heads. The
inscription is illegible.
