House, then public house, now domestic again. Late C17,
altered early C20. Probably timber-framed in origin with brick
underbuilt jetty to front and brick-skinned rear. Pantiled
roof to front slope, corrugated tiles to rear. Lobby entrance
plan. 2 storeys. Early C20 half-glazed door left of centre
flanked by one early C19 three-light casement either side.
Fixed 3-light window to right. First-floor retains evidence of
jetty bressumer although first-floor timber studwork is false.
One 3-light and one 4-light casement to first floor. Gabled
roof with ridge stack over door rebuilt and turned transverse
to roof early C20. Rear with a cross wing to north-east side
of one storey. Pantiled gabled roof and ridge stack. INTERIOR.
No evidence of timber frame visible. Large bridging beam runs
along entire length at ground floor.
