GV II

House, later shop and flat, now house. Late C18 with mid C19
shop. Painted rough render with ashlar dressings; stone slate
roof with stone chimney. 2 storeys; one-window range.
Half-glazed door at right in plain stone surround. Shop front
at left has shallow square projecting bay with
coursed-squared-stone stall-riser, paired sashes flanked by
narrow pilasters, and entablature. First floor has central
renewed 4-pane sash in plain stone surround. Roof has right
end stone chimney, shared with No.56 (qv), with top band.
Cast-iron coal shute grid in centre of stall-riser. INTERIOR:
not inspected.
