Pair of houses. c1850-58. Possibly by Charles Reed. Lined out
stucco with Welsh slate hipped roof. 2 storeys, 4-window range
with double-pile 2-unit plan to each dwelling with side
entrances. Rusticated stucco to ground floor with tripartite
sash windows with cast-iron fluted mullions and stressed
voussoirs. Tall mullioned and transomed windows with panelled
aprons and segmental pediments carried on brackets to first
floor. Plain cornice band and projecting eaves carried on
brackets.
