Attached office and shop. Mid C19. Limestone ashlar, roof not
visible. Single-depth plan. Italianate style.
3 storeys and attic; 4-window range to Regent Street. A corner
site with entrance and single window in the rounded corner.
Articulated by pilasters, banded on the ground floor, to the
right-hand window, corner and left-hand end; plinth,
ground-floor cornice, second-floor sill band and coped attic
storey parapet. Shopfront has an arcade of semicircular arches
with faceted keys, moulded archivolts and impost band: corner
doorway has a C20 door, right-hand entrance divided by the
impost band across the lintel and narrow margin lights, to
12-panel door with flush panels, 2-window left return;
plate-glass windows. Architraves to first-floor windows, plain
above, 2/2-pane sashes with margin panes and 3/3-pane attic
storey sashes; tripartite first- and second-floor windows in
the left return.
INTERIOR: entrance hall from the right-hand doorway with a
small open-well stair with stick balusters and moulded newels.
